Crane necklace and earrings!

When Steph from Julu Jewelry post these very cute earrings on her blog, I immediately wanted to buy. I have already own a Heqi's Mother of pearl Dove earrings, my favorite pair from Lisa's collection. So to see another pair of Mother of pearl, but with bunnies? that is tooo cute to pass!!

My thoughts on them: I just like how the rabbits reflect against the sunrays, they are like polished, beautiful carved rabbits! I really love them when they're not on me actually. Why "not on me"? Well this pair of earrings is too "youthful" on me lol. The parts that makes those earrings "youthful" is those pink hearts! After visualizing them on my ears, I prefer to have "tear crystals" instead of "heart crystals". It makes the earrings more mature but in a cute way, so instead of having 100% cuteness, it's a half-half. :D The thing is...I have a teenager's face.. (sort of.) The ppl that I don't know think i'm like around 16 years old...That doesn't make me happy one bit..lol and the worst thing is...If i do my crappy makeup style, (I look sooo bad) my face looks younger than my bare face with sunscreen. It's only eyeliner and lipgloss though. For your information, I still don't know how to draw a perfect line with an eyeliner..it...always smudges on my outer corner. I don't know what the heck is my problem though....:(

So if you're like me and you want a half-half cuteness/mature bunny earrings, ask Steph for a modification! :D I'm sure she can do that!! (RIGHT STEPH? mwahahhaha xD)

They're not heavy at all even though there's so many elements on them :D very light!

Steph wraps her jewelries with really pretty colorful wrappers. The one that I actually was surprised is this one (see below). It reminds me SO MUCH of her logo loll

Crane Necklace

The hammered JJ tag gives a more valuable necklace in my opinion. I like really appreciate that. :)

My thoughts: The necklace is almost perfect. You can resize the necklace's length the way you want. The crane itself has a little bit of weight, it's not plastic, which is great! It's really a beautiful simple necklace. The only downside to it is that the necklace is made of gold plated chain. I don't remember if the necklace was 1oo% gold plated or not when I first received it. But right now the chain that touches my neck is turning into silver.. :( ..sad sad saaad....I guess it's my infamous sweat that made it turn into a silver one :( ...............I recommend to buy the silver version so you won't have the golden-silver chain when you wear it, although the crane looks better in gold imo :) I pressume that wearing it during winter will be better than in summer (less sweat for me hohoho)! There are other choices of color you can choose from too :D At the beginning, I chose the light sapphire crystal for this necklace, but Steph knew that I prefer the Sapphire AB (cuz I really like the crystals with the tweet tweet earrings (part 1, part 2), but I just didn't remember the color name of the crystal =.=''..I even wrote the color name on one of my posts...eurgh stupid me...)!!! Anyway (!!), she changed it without me knowing it xD and i'm completely satisfied for that matter! *thumbs up* thanks Steph!!! The greatest surprise I got from her is that I chose the rose crystal and light rose pearl for the Crane earrings during our convo through email and she changed it to the one I LIKE the most: ..you guess it..................Sapphire AB duuhhhhhh!

PERFECT PERFECT.

As always, she uses this kind of ear hooks. That kind of hook---> I approuve. Normally if i don't wear this kind of hook, i constantly have to check if my earrings are still on my earlobes. I'm a person who moves like a violent person..LOL ...well in a way :P ...I don't stand still, y'know. But I don't have to worry with this crane earrings, cuz those cranes do weight a little bit (NOT too heavy, just a bit so that you can feel their presence).

Ever since I got too many many jewelries getting tarnished (i mostly own sterling silver ones), I got tired of rinsing them with baking powder, some took too long to clean them..and some got tarnished too quickly after cleaning and wearing them too much LOL...So I actually put some efforts (yes, im lazy) and bought two packs of resealable storing bags (80 bags/pack). I already used more than 80 (i'm so crazy). If you live in Canada, there's that Dollarama store (dollar store) which carries that kind of item. I recommend everyone to buy resealable storing bags. This will save you some time to do something else instead of cleaning your jewelries....unless you like to clean-then nvm :] )

It was hard for me to take pics with my iphone, cuz it's really too white lol...these earrings are really cute to wear with summer dresses, but the only problem I got is that the earring backs are fragile. If you force the "pointy stick" (i dunno the name) into the earring back, the backs can get flexible and deform after. I had to fix it with a plier (took only a few second to fix). So you just gotta be careful when you going to wear them. :)
